FUN FORD WEEKEND THUNDERED INTO CASTROL RACEWAY

The return of Fun Ford Weekend at Castrol Raceway thundered into Edmonton, Alberta Canada on July 27, with a BANG! With Fords of all kinds from a Chip Foose edition F-150 to an ’06 red Ford GT, Castrol Raceway became the center of the Blue Oval universe on Saturday. With spectacular burnouts and perfect temperatures for drag racing, the strip hosted the only Canadian Fun Ford Weekend in style, until the clouds rolled in. With Fun Ford Weekend being no stranger to a little soggy weather and despite the sprinkles, the car show continued to draw fans and check out the cars after the racing action ceased for the day with only one bracket unable to finish. While the event was cut short because of the weather, Fun Ford Weekend is proud to provide Ford enthusiasts in Canada a place to celebrate the historic and iconic brand and looking forward to making history with Castrol Raceway in 2014 as Canada’s premier all-Ford destination.

  1. Doug Kanuka says:

Thanks to FFW for coming to Edmonton again this year. Great to see that you will be back in 2014. With any luck the weatherman will give us a break next year, especially as it will be the 50th anniversary of Mustang.
